In addition to co-founding Bloomsbury Publishing PLC (publisher of the Harry Potter book series), Alan Wherry has held the positions of CEO and Publisher of Bloomsbury USA, Sales Director with Penguin Books Ltd for UK and Europe, and Sales Director for Transworld Publishers. Alan also worked as an Area Sales Manager for Procter and Gamble where he won the “Southern Division Area Sales” Salver three times. He is currently President of DaisyAmerica LLC.
Mr. Wherry more recently served as an Executive Coach for HealthCorps, a nationwide US nonprofit organization that has introduced wellness programs in over 500 schools across the United States, positively impacting millions of students – where he helped triple their operating budget. He has also served as Director on the boards of several American and global organizations.
