Carlos specializes in leadership development and organization change with a particular focus on companies working in the Industry, Business & Professional Services, Technology, Information & Communication and Entertainment sectors.

He is also on the Board of a High Tech Belgian-based company, responsible for steering business partnerships and alliances throughout Europe.

With 30 years of management consultancy experience, his skills include business process re-engineering, ICT strategic planning, ERP implementation, change management, business cultural change, management reviews and enterprise governance advice, as well as expertise in leadership assessment and executive coaching. He is a certified assessor and works seamlessly with clients to help assess and develop the leadership potential of their executives and high-potential talent.

Carlos specializes further in organizational transformation and advised over the last five years a variety of national and international clients, including:   Campine, Festival of Flanders, PMV, Selligent, Solvac, TBI, TTE Group, VITO and Vlassenroot.

Prior management positions include leading European and global consultancy business units from 2002 to 2005 at IBM. Previously, he worked as Managing Partner of several consultancy practices at PWC. Prior to that, he was Financial Director at Eli Lilly and Management Consultant with EY. He started his career as an Assistant Professor at the University of Ghent, then worked as an Analyst at CERN, and later as a Project Leader with GTE Corporation.

Academic and Other Credentials

Carlos holds master’s degrees in Mechanical & Electro-Technical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from the University of Ghent.

He also holds a certification from Hogan (Professional Development) and from the University of Cambridge (Foundations of Executive Coaching).

He is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
